Evanly Aussies - Standard, Miniature, & Toy Australian Shepherds
Named for my son, Drew Evan, Evanly Aussies is a small hobby kennel that
started very small with one standard Australian Shepherd female (see below) &
one very large standard male, Ambrosha's Rumor Has It. I kept my breeding
program very small for 6 years, but since retiring from showing horses in 2004,
I have been able to devote myself to this wonderfully intelligent breed in all its
variations, toys, minis and standards, for nearly 5 years now & have litters more
consistently instead of having to plan them around the horse show schedule. I
have recently scaled my Aussie business back to 1 toy female & 2 standard size
females. I don't have litters very often, but when I do, they are well planned & of
good quality.
I still have that old female, now retired, along with a daughter & a
granddaughter. See all the 4 generation photos below.

My Australian shepherds are bred with instinct AND conformation in
mind. Proper markings are very important to my program. I have noticed
there are breeders selling imperfect pups at premium prices. Mismarked
pups can happen to any reputable breeder, but are sold at reduced prices
& as pet quality. I recommend that if you are interested in Australian
shepherds, be it a full size miniature or toy Australian shepherd, to visit
www.asca.org or www.mascaonline.org & read the breed standard info
pages. Pictured above is "Buzz", my standard male Australian Shepherd
that I believe is a beautiful example of this breed.
